Indigenous Assistant Facilities Caretaker

Be part of the facilities team, who help to promote a positive environment across our communities, through the on-going maintenance of the grounds, gardens and general facilities needs and engagement with the homeowners.

A full time, permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.

Position Description:

• Responsible for maintenance of the grounds, gardens including weed spraying, pool, and other common areas
• Maintenance of facilities and equipment
• Cleaning of recreation and common areas
• Ensuring the environment is safe for both staff and homeowners
• Oversee on-site security
• Other general tasks as required

Position Requirements:

• Experience in landscaping and/or garden maintenance and support, or may have recently completed a Horticulture/Landscaping (or similar) studies but not essential
• Demonstrated experience in general maintenance
• Experience within a community/lifestyle environment such as retirement living, caravan parks, resort facilities, schools, motels/hotels would be beneficial
• Hold a current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
