Based at Pimpama, as the Facilities Caretaker, reporting to the Regional Facilities Supervisor, you'll be overseeing and managing all the on-going maintenance of the community's grounds, gardens, and facilities. Engaging with the homeowners and helping to promote a positive environment within the community.

A full time, permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.

Position Description:

  • Maintain and manage the community grounds, gardens, and recreation facilities, ensuring quality on-going operational maintenance
  • Oversee and manage all contractors/service providers to ensure compliance with both legal and Stockland Halcyon guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Manage routine and scheduled maintenance and safety requirements of facilities, equipment, and plant (ie: test and tag, pool testing)
  • Facilitate and manage all operational activities within budget
  • Engage and build strong relationships with homeowners
  • Manage community security
  • Actively participate in Caretaker meetings and completion of all relevant reporting as required

Position Requirements:

  • Experience working within a community/lifestyle environment such as Retirement Living, Caravan Parks, Commercial Facilities, Schools, Hotels, Motels
  • Experience in general maintenance and amenity cleaning and gardening maintenance
  • Strong communicator, you're a natural at engaging and building relationships
  • Preferably hold a Commercial Operators Licence in compliance with the Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control Act 1966 (ACDC) for weed spraying (however not essential, can be assisted in obtaining)
  • Competent computer skills
  • Current General First Aid Certificate (or a refresher can be arranged)
  • Current drivers licence/own vehicle, for commute to/from work, there will be a work ute available for use during the day
