Do you love working outdoors and creating beautiful spaces? We are looking for a Gardening and Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team in Caloundra. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong gardening knowledge and a passion for maintaining vibrant, welcoming communities.

This is a casual role where you will spend 80% of your time gardening and 20% on general maintenance tasks. If you enjoy variety, take pride in your work and want to be part of a supportive team, this role is for you.

Position Description:

  • Maintain gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and visually appealing.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks across the community, including minor repairs and upkeep of facilities.
  • Assist with routine and scheduled maintenance requirements for equipment and communal areas.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners and contractors, delivering exceptional service.
  • Ensure all activities comply with WHS standards and company policies.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong gardening and landscaping knowledge (formal qualifications desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with general maintenance and handyman tasks.
  • Ability to use a wide range of gardening tools and equipment safely.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • ACDC licence for weed spraying is desirable but not essential.
