A Skilled Labourer who can support the delivery of high quality homes by taking ownership of finishing work, defect fixes and site presentation. Someone practical, reliable and comfortable working in a fast paced residential environment.

Position Description:

  • Work onsite five days a week supporting the construction team.
  • Complete a wide range of finishing, repair and presentation activities to ensure homes are ready for QA and handover.
  • Undertake painting, patching, plastering, touch ups and general maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and fix defects to meet quality expectations.
  • Support site housekeeping, safety, security and general construction activities.
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisor and team to meet build timelines.

Position Requirements:

  • Trade background in painting, plastering, carpentry or handyman work, or strong general labouring skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on defect identification and finishing quality.
  • Comfortable working in fast paced residential construction environments.
  • Able to read basic building plans and follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team focused approach.
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport.
