Indigenous Warranty Leading Hand

We are seeking a qualified carpenter to join our Warranty team. Based at Logan Village, you will be responsible for managing all allocated warranty works across our sites in Logan Village, Eagleby, and Logan Reserve.

Position Description:

• This hands-on role involves liaising with homeowners and handling various tasks such as doors and cabinetry adjustment, grouting, applying silicon, rendering, minor painting and plastering touch-ups, assessing, and fixing roof leaks and coordinating with relevant trades.
• Reporting to the Residential Customer Care Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for work/home lifestyle balance.

Position Requirements:

• Carpentry trade qualification
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial building sites
• Understanding of QBCC standard and tolerances preferred (training provided if needed)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to naturally build rapport and trust with others
• Current white card
• Own general tools
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (capable of carrying a ladder as and when required), mileage covered
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a refresher course once started)
